I think I will get the Green Machine tool and get my installation in order. The Promise controller is the Fastrak controller. I would backup and restore to an external drive to keep the data. Net and its accuracy. Long days and long nights lately.

Check this thread out they are using the same promise drivers that asus uses and look what the cause was promise driver issue Hope this helps.
Pressing Ctrl-F any way does not get you in either. Sorry about your troubles dude but I just went through a major fasttral with a system with a Asus motherboard and the SATA setup was a nightmare for me.

There’s no need to load the Fastrak’s bios if no drives are detected connected to the controller. If at least one drive is detected connected to the Promise Fastrak controller and is are being detected correctly, you’ll see a line that indicates the drive s has have been detected, and if at least two drives or possibly at least one is are detected, then THAT’S when you’ll see the line that tells you what keys to press to access it’s RAID utility Ctrl-F in this case?

This is the way to go.
I usually recover from the trips to the unknown but it is always with more stress than is friendly. Thats is WinXP see’s the array and all the data is there and it works fine. You need to fasytrak a member in order to leave a comment. Thanks – back to work. Keeps me on my toes.
