Would you buy this? A buddy had another model and found out they had to move it off the network and connect directly to the PC. Any warranty support needed would be completed by the third party that sold the product. I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Before hooking the new one up, I will try your solution and get back regarding whether I was successful or not.

You may download and install the drivers from this HP link. Like your disks, mine are for older operating systems. HP Download and Install Assistant. I am having the same problem. Select your desired files and a list of links will be sent by email.
Standard 4x6in photos print in an average 28sec, while A4 photos print in 1min 15sec; this gives a good indication of the multifunction’s performance while producing in-house marketing materials. I was able to get the scanner working, but only for photos, not pdf’s.

Product sold by third party: How does HP install software and gather data? Track this discussion and email me when there are updates. This product was sold by a third party. I have tried changing the scanner settings, but there is no pdf option for the file type.

I have the original install disk that came with the unit, but the disk only go up as far as Vista, and I just recently upgraded to a new laptop running Windows7 64bit I sincerely hope this fixes the issue.
